Jomtien to Suvarnabhumi Taxi Fares

The fare is per vehicle, not per seat, and covers the car, the driver, and every Motorway 7 toll between your Jomtien pickup and the Suvarnabhumi departures hall. It is locked when we confirm the booking, so a late-night or holiday run costs the same as a midday one.

Vehicle TypeCapacityPrice
Standard Sedan (Toyota Camry or similar)3 passengers, 2 large bags฿1,200
Family SUV (Toyota Fortuner or similar)4 passengers, 4 large bags฿1,300
VIP Minivan (Toyota Commuter)8 passengers, 8 large bags฿1,900

The rate applies in reverse for an airport pickup back to Jomtien, and sits ฿100 per tier above the ฿1,100 central Pattaya sedan because the Jomtien pickup zone lies further south. Every published fare is listed on the pricing page.

Suvarnabhumi: Thailand's Main International Gateway

Suvarnabhumi (say "su-wan-na-poom") carries the bulk of Thailand's long-haul traffic. Thai Airways, EVA Air, Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Lufthansa, and the other full-service carriers fly out of here to Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and across Asia. If you are heading home on a direct or connecting long-haul ticket, your departure is almost certainly from BKK rather than Don Muang, which is the low-cost carriers' base. The airport runs as one vast terminal instead of the two separate buildings at Don Muang, so there is a single set of check-in rows to find.

Where the Driver Drops You: Departures, Floor 4

All check-in at Suvarnabhumi sits on Floor 4, the departures level. Counters run in lettered rows from A through W, grouped by airline, with your row shown on the booking confirmation and on the hall screens. The driver pulls up at the Floor 4 kerb, a short walk from the doors nearest your airline, rather than the arrivals level one floor down. Tell us the carrier when you book and the driver stops at the departures entrance closest to your check-in zone. Immigration and security clear on the same floor after check-in.

A Direct Run East on Motorway 7: No City Crossing

Suvarnabhumi sits on the eastern edge of Bangkok, the same side as Pattaya and Jomtien, which is why this transfer stays cheaper than the Don Muang one even from the further-out Jomtien pickup. The driver leaves Jomtien, joins Motorway 7, and stays on it nearly the whole way to the airport interchange, with no need to cross or skirt the city the way a Don Muang trip does. The road tracks the eastern seaboard past Chonburi and the industrial estates before the airport feeder peels off. The ~110 km run holds its time well; the sedan is ฿1,200 here against ฿1,500 to Don Muang, the difference being the shorter distance and the saved city driving.

Where Jomtien Sits and the Same-Fare Na Jomtien Pickup

Jomtien Beach is 3 km south of central Pattaya, a 6 km stretch of sand split into North Jomtien by Dongtan Beach, Central Jomtien on the main hotel strip, and South Jomtien, which runs on into Na Jomtien. Na Jomtien continues further south, roughly 115 to 120 km from the airport against Jomtien Beach's 110 km. Pickup covers every one of these zones, from a View Talay condo to the Ambassador City and Movenpick resorts, at the same airport fare.

Timing a Long-Haul Departure: When to Leave Jomtien

International flights want you at the counter early. Suvarnabhumi check-in opens about three hours before departure, most airlines close it 45 to 60 minutes before the flight, and on a busy evening bank the immigration queues alone can swallow a fair chunk of time. Many long-haul services to Europe and the Middle East leave BKK late at night, roughly between 11:00 PM and 2:00 AM, with a second wave in the morning. For a midnight departure, plan to be at the airport by about 9:00 PM, which after the 1.5 to 2 hour drive puts the Jomtien pickup near 6:30 to 7:00 PM; a morning flight moves that pickup to before dawn.

Give us the flight number at booking and we set a pickup time that covers check-in, immigration, and the slower end of the drive. Book the day before so the car and driver are confirmed ahead of an overnight start.

Choosing Your Vehicle

The SUV adds boot room for golf clubs or extra cases over the sedan, and the 8-seat minivan keeps a larger party in one car to the terminal.

Pickup Across Jomtien and What the Fare Includes

Give us a hotel name or street address anywhere in the Jomtien area, from North Jomtien and Dongtan down through the Central strip to South Jomtien and Na Jomtien, along with your pickup time. The driver comes to the lobby or door and helps load the bags. The fixed fare also covers the drop at the Floor 4 departures kerb, bottled water in the car, and a child seat on request. Every vehicle is air-conditioned and non-smoking. If anything shifts on the day, a different pickup point or an earlier time, message +66 95 540 7084 on WhatsApp or Line and we pass it to the driver.

Payment and Booking

Nothing is paid up front. You book, we confirm, and you settle with the driver when you reach the airport. Payment is Thai baht cash only. We don't take cards or online payment.

Jomtien to Suvarnabhumi Taxi: Frequently Asked Questions

How much is a taxi from Jomtien to Suvarnabhumi Airport?

Fixed fares are ฿1,200 for a sedan (3 passengers), ฿1,300 for an SUV (4 passengers), and ฿1,900 for an 8-seat minivan. The price is per vehicle, locked at booking, and includes every Motorway 7 toll to the airport.

How long does the Jomtien to Suvarnabhumi taxi take?

Roughly 1.5 to 2 hours over about 110 km, almost all of it on Motorway 7. Friday and Sunday evenings and Thai public holidays run at the top of that range, so for those times the recommended pickup carries an extra buffer.

Which floor does the driver drop me at?

Departures, Floor 4. Suvarnabhumi is a single terminal, so all check-in is on that level, with airline counters in lettered rows from A to W. Tell us your airline at booking and the driver stops at the departures entrance nearest your row.

Why is Jomtien to Suvarnabhumi more than the Pattaya fare?

The Jomtien sedan is ฿1,200 against ฿1,100 from central Pattaya, a flat ฿100 more per vehicle tier. Jomtien sits about 5 km south of the central Pattaya pickup zone, so the ~110 km run is a little longer than the ~90 km Pattaya trip. The gap is fixed at ฿100 across sedan, SUV, and minivan.

Do you pick up from Na Jomtien for the same fare?

Yes. Na Jomtien sits only 5 to 10 km beyond Jomtien Beach, and the airport-drop fare is the same tier: ฿1,200 sedan, ฿1,300 SUV, ฿1,900 minivan. Ambassador City, Movenpick, Veranda, and the other Na Jomtien resorts all book at that rate.

How do I pay?

No prepayment. You pay the driver at the airport in Thai baht cash only. We don't take cards or online payment.
