Where to Meet Your Driver at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK)

You land, clear immigration, collect your bags and walk through customs. What happens after that is the part nobody tells you about. Come out of the arrivals hall through the doors at Gate 3, also signed Exit 3. Our representative is standing there with a board showing your name, at any hour of the day or night.

Book Your Pickup at Suvarnabhumi

Bookings need at least 12 hours' notice. All times are Thailand time (UTC+7).

Enter the time your flight lands. We track your flight and meet you after you land, so there is no separate pickup time.

The form is already set to Suvarnabhumi to Pattaya. Change the drop-off if you are heading somewhere else, put in your flight number, and we will confirm on WhatsApp. Cash to the driver at the end of the ride.

The Short Version

  • Gate 3, signed Exit 3, on the arrivals level (Level 2) — outside the doors, not inside the hall
  • Look for a signboard with your name printed on it
  • Someone is there 24 hours a day, every day of the year
  • 60 minutes of free waiting, counted from when your flight actually lands
  • Cannot see us? Message WhatsApp on +66 95 540 7084 before you leave the terminal
  • Every non-Thai passport holder needs a TDAC, filed within 72 hours before arrival

From the Plane to the Car

Suvarnabhumi is a big airport, but the arrival route through it is a single corridor. From the aircraft door you come down to Level 2, and from there the overhead signs carry you through passport control, past the baggage belts and out through customs without changing floors once. Four steps, in this order.

  1. Your plane lands. Follow the walkway signs marked Immigration. From the far gates this is a ten to fifteen minute walk, and if your aircraft parks at the satellite terminal, SAT-1, an automated train carries you across first. There is one route through and no decision to make.
  2. Passport control. Have your passport and your TDAC confirmation ready before you reach the counter. The queue runs anywhere from ten minutes to over an hour depending on how many wide-body aircraft landed at the same time. This is usually the longest part of the arrival.
  3. Baggage claim. Check the screens for your flight number and the belt it has been given. The belts are on the same level, straight ahead of the immigration counters. Trolleys are free and stand at the end of each row of belts.
  4. Customs, then out to Gate 3. Take the green channel if you have nothing to declare. The hall opens up in front of you and the exit numbers are printed above each set of doors along the wall. Walk to Gate 3, marked Exit 3, and step outside.

Most passengers are outside within forty minutes of the wheels touching down. Ninety is normal on a busy evening. We wait outside rather than in the hall for a reason: the barrier inside arrivals fills up with hotel staff, tour reps and drivers from a dozen other companies, and that crowd is exactly where people miss each other. Gate 3 is calmer, and it has a number you can read off a sign.

How to Recognise Our Representative

The board has your name on it, printed rather than scrawled, and held at chest height. It is the name you gave us when you booked, so if you booked the car for someone else, tell them whose name to look for. Our representative wears a company shirt and stands at the desk by the Gate 3 doors, on the pavement side of the glass rather than in the crush behind the barrier inside.

Say your name, or show the booking confirmation on your phone. From there it is quick. They will take a heavy bag off you, check the drop-off address one last time, and walk you to the car, which is parked at the kerb a few metres away rather than in a distant car park. Most people are sitting down inside five minutes.

If You Cannot Find Us

Message WhatsApp before you do anything else: +66 95 540 7084. Send the name on your booking and your flight number. That is enough for us to find the driver and tell you which doors he is standing at. Somebody answers around the clock, including at four in the morning.

Stay at Gate 3 while you wait for the reply. Walking the length of the terminal looking for us is how a five-minute problem turns into a thirty-minute one, because the exits are a couple of hundred metres apart and we will keep passing each other. Do not join the taxi rank queue either; your car is already assigned and waiting, and you settle it in cash at the end of the ride. If WhatsApp will not connect on the airport wifi, call +66 95 540 7084.

Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

The paper TM6 arrival card is gone, replaced by an online form. Everyone holding a passport from outside Thailand has to file one, children included. It is free. The only official place to do it is https://tdac.immigration.go.th, and the window opens 72 hours before you arrive. File it earlier than that and the system will not take it.

Do it before you get on the plane. A QR code comes back by email, so save it or take a screenshot; the wifi in the immigration queue is not something to build a plan around. The officer at the counter will ask for it. Arriving without one is not a disaster, but it means filling in the form on your phone while the queue behind you waits. We cannot file it for you. It asks for your passport details and carries your own declaration, so it has to come from you.

If Your Flight Is Delayed

You give us your flight number when you book, and we watch it. Leave four hours late and the driver arrives four hours later; nobody needs to be told. That is the whole reason the field is on the form, so fill it in properly, airline code and all. A booking with no flight number is a booking we cannot track.

The 60 minutes of free waiting start when your flight actually lands, not at the pickup time you chose. A bad night at passport control can eat most of that hour, and if you can see you are going to run over it, message us from the queue and the car will stay. If you get rebooked onto another flight, or the aircraft is diverted into Don Mueang, tell us as soon as you know. A changed flight number we have not been given is the one thing that can leave a driver waiting at the wrong airport.

Meeting Your Driver at BKK: Frequently Asked Questions

Where exactly do I meet the driver at Suvarnabhumi?

Gate 3, signed Exit 3, on the arrivals level of the terminal, which is Level 2. Come out through those doors and our representative is on the pavement immediately outside, at the desk. Do not stop at the barrier inside the hall; that crowd is other companies. The exit numbers are printed above each set of doors.

How will I know which person is your representative?

By the board. Your name is printed on it in large letters and it is held at chest height by the Gate 3 doors, at a desk rather than in a moving crowd. Give your name or show the booking confirmation and they will walk you to the car at the kerb.

What happens if my flight lands late?

Nothing you need to arrange. We track the flight number you gave us, so the driver works to your real landing time. The 60 free minutes are counted from touchdown too. If you are rebooked onto a different flight, send us the new number as soon as you have it.

Do I have to complete the TDAC before I fly?

Yes, if your passport is not Thai. The form opens 72 hours before arrival, takes a few minutes, and costs nothing. File it at tdac.immigration.go.th and save the QR code, because immigration asks for it at the counter. We cannot submit it for you.

How much free waiting time do I get?

Sixty minutes, measured from the moment your flight lands rather than from the pickup time on your booking. That covers a normal run through passport control and baggage with room to spare. If a slow queue is going to push you past the hour, message us from where you are standing.

What do I do if nobody is at Gate 3?

Message WhatsApp on +66 95 540 7084 with your booking name and flight number, and stay where you are. We will tell you which doors the driver is at, usually within a minute or two. Do not walk off to another exit and do not join the taxi rank queue; your car is already there.
